Shares of Enlight Renewable Energy surged as much as 7.7% on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange after the clean-energy developer reported third-quarter results that blew past expectations and raised its full-year outlook — forcing investors to ask whether the stock's rapid climb already prices in the good news. Enlight Renewable Energy Delivers a Record Quarter and Lifts Guidance Again — but Is the Market Already Pricing In the Growth?

Shares of Enlight Renewable Energy jumped 5.4% to ILA 22,220 after the Israeli-American clean-energy developer reported its strongest quarter on record and raised its full-year outlook for the second consecutive time. The move rewards shareholders who have held through a volatile year for renewables — but the question now is whether the stock can sustain this trajectory or whether the good news is already baked in.

A 40% Revenue Surge Driven by New Projects and Israeli Energy Trading

Total revenues and income reached $231 million, up 40% year-over-year, while adjusted EBITDA — a measure of core operating profit before accounting charges — increased 38% to $154 million.

The growth came from newly operational projects contributing $21 million in electricity sales and $70 million in tax benefits, plus $34 million from electricity trading in Israel, which jumped $17 million from a year earlier. That diversification matters: Enlight is not just a builder of solar farms but increasingly a power merchant booking real profits from selling electrons directly.

Second Guidance Raise This Year Signals Management Confidence

Enlight raised its full-year 2026 financial guidance for the second time this year.

Annual revenue guidance now sits at $810–$830 million, compared with $755–$785 million at the start of the year.

Adjusted EBITDA guidance increased to $575–$590 million.

The bump primarily reflects nine-month operating results, Israeli trading activity, and higher European electricity prices — tailwinds that could fade if power markets cool.

A Massive Construction Pipeline — and a Massive Debt Load to Match

The company is constructing more than 4 gigawatts of generation and storage across eight U.S. projects, expanded its European storage portfolio by 6.6 gigawatt-hours, and reiterated its goal of exceeding a $2.2 billion annual revenue run rate by 2028.

But Enlight is managing a $5.6 billion debt burden while scaling aggressively, meaning any rise in borrowing costs or construction delays could squeeze returns.

Net Income Tells a More Cautious Story

Net profit was $34 million, up just 4% from $32 million a year ago, though excluding one-time items it surged 76%.

Q3 included roughly $20 million in one-time contract-termination fees , masking the underlying improvement. Investors should watch whether bottom-line growth catches up to the top line as construction spending tapers — that gap will determine whether today's rally has staying power.
