Barclays upgraded Estee Lauder (EL) to Overweight from Equalweight and raised its price target to $108 from $97. The move followed stronger-than-expected organic sales growth in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, as the recovery spread across geographies and product categories.

Barclays noted that, for the first time since 2022, every geography and category except haircare posted organic sales growth. The firm said this points to more consistent, broad-based growth in fiscal 2027 and beyond, and makes Estee Lauder one of the more attractive investments in the global consumer staples sector.

Estee Lauder shares climbed in pre-market trading after the news.
