Eldorado Gold produced the first copper-gold concentrate from its Skouries project in northern Greece. This milestone marks the transition from construction to operational status. The company successfully commissioned the crushing, grinding, and flotation circuits following the introduction of ore in July.

Commercial production at the site is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026. The project will average 140,000 ounces of gold and 67 million pounds of copper annually. CEO George Burns characterized the project as a transformational asset and a significant investment for Greece.

A stockpile exceeding 4.6 million tonnes of ore will support the initial ramp-up phase.
