Edelweiss Financial Services completed the sale of a 45% stake in its subsidiary, Nido Home Finance Limited, on September 25, 2026. The stake was sold to affiliates of The Carlyle Group and entities associated with Aditya Puri, generating ₹580.68 crore for Edelweiss.
The buyers will invest more than ₹2,000 crore in Nido, including primary capital. Following the transaction, Nido is no longer a subsidiary of Edelweiss Financial Services.
