ShinyHunters has listed medical device company Dexcom as a new victim on its dark web leak site. The group threatens to publish allegedly stolen corporate data by the end of Friday, October 2, 2026, unless Dexcom makes contact.
The threat follows a recent public showdown between ShinyHunters and the FBI. The group has not provided samples of the allegedly stolen data.
A breach could put sensitive information at risk. Dexcom’s continuous glucose monitoring systems work with a smartphone app, and a breach could potentially expose health data belonging to millions of users worldwide.
Cybernews contacted Dexcom for comment but had not received a response at the time of publication.
