DocuSign will launch its Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server for all AI agents on September 30. This initiative, named the DocuSign Agreement Layer, makes the DocuSign Iris AI engine natively accessible through ChatGPT, Gemini, Slack, and Copilot.
The integration allows AI agents to manage and execute contract workflows directly within these external platforms. Users can analyze terms and automate agreement processes without switching between different applications.
The move positions the Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM) platform as a secure framework for businesses deploying AI agents at scale. Early partners like Experian are currently exploring these capabilities to enhance contract lifecycle management.
