Diageo appointed Joanne Wilson as its new Chief Financial Officer and member of the Board and Executive Committee. Wilson currently serves as the CFO of WPP plc and will transition to Diageo at an unspecified date in 2027.
She succeeds Nik Jhangiani, who joined the company in 2024. Jhangiani previously served as interim CEO during 2025 and will remain in his current role to manage the transition.
CEO Sir Dave Lewis expects Wilson to accelerate the company's turnaround efforts. Wilson brings prior senior financial experience from Britvic, Tesco, and KPMG.
