Diageo plc appointed Joanne Wilson as its new Chief Financial Officer to succeed Nik Jhangiani. Wilson currently serves as the CFO of WPP plc.
She will join Diageo’s Board and Executive Committee in 2027. Jhangiani will remain in his role until that time to ensure a smooth transition.
Wilson’s compensation includes an annual salary of £900,000. She is also eligible for annual and long-term incentive plans.
Her professional history includes senior roles at Britvic, Tesco, and KPMG. Diageo’s CEO stated the appointment supports the company’s new strategic direction.
