Dell Technologies is preparing its 18th-generation PowerEdge servers to address rising computing demands from artificial intelligence. Workloads such as agentic AI are straining existing CPU resources, renewing the need to consolidate servers and free up data-center capacity.

Featuring processors from Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD), the new systems are designed to deliver significant performance improvements. Dell says they can enable customers to consolidate up to 13 older-generation servers, increasing compute density and efficiency to handle growing AI processing needs.
