Brad Gerstner, founder of Altimeter Capital, is promoting the newly launched Trump Accounts federal investment program.

The initiative provides a $1,000 government seed contribution for children born between 2025 and 2028.

Gerstner revealed that President Trump aims to shift the program from an opt-in system to automatic enrollment.

The program officially launched on July 4, 2026.

Philanthropists Michael Dell and Ray Dalio have already pledged billions in additional contributions.

Goldman Sachs and Bank of America are also providing corporate financial support to the initiative.

Gerstner predicts the partnership will attract over $100 billion in private commitments within the next year.

The program aims to increase long-term savings and investment participation for the next generation.
