DoorDash reached a $131.5 million settlement with New York City’s Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP).
The agreement ends a year-long investigation into the company’s compliance with 2023 minimum pay laws for food-delivery workers.
DoorDash admitted to errors, attributing underpaid and late payments to technical bugs and complex regulations.
The settlement covers back pay for affected workers and funds to resolve pay calculation disputes.
DoorDash will also pay fines to the DCWP as part of the agreement.
