Cognizant launched a new business unit, Cognizant Activate. It will provide AI and technology services to companies with annual revenues between $1 billion and $5 billion. The unit aims to deliver enterprise-grade AI transformation solutions. It targets companies facing similar technological challenges as larger corporations, but requiring more agile and rapidly deployable options.
Cognizant Activate will offer pre-configured solutions. These include data and AI, cybersecurity, cloud modernization, and managed services. The unit will initially focus on financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, and retail/consumer packaged goods sectors. Cognizant aims to expand its market reach beyond its traditional large enterprise client base. It will tailor offerings to the specific needs and scale of mid-sized companies.
