CoreWeave will add NVIDIA’s new Vera CPU, designed for AI agent workloads, to its infrastructure offerings. The company announced the move at its Fully Connected AI conference, citing growing demand for CPUs to support tasks around GPU-powered model training, including isolated sandboxes, code execution and data pipelines.

CoreWeave’s rack-scale Vera systems will have 128 CPUs per rack. Each rack will contain 11,264 cores, designed to deliver high-density, scalable performance.

In initial tests, CoreWeave found that Vera CPUs started agent sandboxes more than three times faster than traditional x86 CPUs. The company will integrate the hardware into its bare-metal platform to support its Sandboxes product and accelerate the AI development cycle.
