CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. has signed definitive agreements to acquire AI-focused cybersecurity firms Fiddler AI and Dreadnode for approximately $495 million combined. The acquisitions are intended to expand the capabilities of its AI-native Falcon platform.
Fiddler AI specializes in AI agent observability and explainability. Its technology will bring pre-deployment evaluation and continuous behavioral accountability for AI agents to Falcon.
Dreadnode specializes in automated AI security testing. Its technology will enable Falcon to continuously test AI models, applications and agents for security vulnerabilities before deployment.
CrowdStrike says the acquisitions reflect its commitment to advancing its position in AI-driven cybersecurity. The transactions are expected to close in the fourth quarter of CrowdStrike’s fiscal year 2027.
