Cerrado Gold presented an update at the Small Cap Showcase Conference, outlining its financial outlook and growth projects. The company projects that its Minera Don Nicolás mine in Argentina will generate more than CAD 100 million in EBITDA in 2026. It expects free cash flow of CAD 200 million to CAD 250 million that year. Management said operating cash flow should be sufficient to fund development projects with minimal shareholder dilution.

Cerrado Gold is focused on extending the life of its Argentine mine and advancing the Lagoa Salgada project in Portugal and the Mont Sorcier iron ore project in Quebec. An updated preliminary economic assessment for Don Nicolás is expected in Q1 2027. The assessment is expected to confirm a mine life of 5–6 years and a path toward annual production of 100,000 ounces.

For Lagoa Salgada, the company is targeting a feasibility study for late 2026. It aims to begin production in 2029.
