Commerce.com partnered with Cloudflare to let AI agents in shoppers’ web browsers search, compare and shop directly on BigCommerce stores. Eligible merchants get the feature by default, with no setup required.
The integration uses the WebMCP standard to let websites communicate product information and capabilities directly to browser-based agents. It is designed to provide more accurate product and pricing details than bots scraping websites. Merchants retain control of checkout and the customer relationship.
