Ciena raised its fiscal 2026 revenue outlook after strong third-quarter results. It now expects full-year revenue of about $6.42 billion, up 35% year over year. Its previous guidance was lower. Ciena forecasts fourth-quarter revenue of about $1.75 billion.
The outlook reflects surging demand for high-speed connectivity, fueled by investment in artificial intelligence and data center infrastructure.
Third-quarter revenue rose 37% year over year to $1.67 billion. Optical networking sales increased 46%. Adjusted earnings per share more than tripled to $2.11, beating analyst estimates.
