Australian cell therapy company Chimeric Therapeutics (ASX:CHM) has had its shares suspended from trading after failing to lodge its fiscal year 2026 financial statements by the September 30 deadline. The company reported a net asset deficiency of approximately $7.7 million.
Brad Glover and Lesley Russell have retired from the board. CEO Dr. Rebecca McQualter has been appointed Managing Director, and Phillip Hains has become Interim Chairman.
Chimeric has scaled back its US operations and is negotiating with creditors to settle liabilities while exploring recapitalization options. The trading suspension is expected to remain in place until the audited financial statements are filed.
