Hellenic Cables, a subsidiary of Cenergy Holdings, secured a €1.5 billion turnkey contract from Greek grid operator IPTO. The agreement covers the design, manufacturing, and installation of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) cables for the Corinth-Kos interconnection.
The project requires approximately 1,260 km of submarine cables. It also includes 30 km of underground cables.
Manufacturing and installation work will begin in the fourth quarter of 2026. The project is scheduled for commissioning in 2030. This contract extends Cenergy’s manufacturing visibility in Greece into the next decade.
