Cerebras Systems (NASDAQ: CBRS) signed a multi-year agreement with General Compute. General Compute is an AI-focused cloud provider. Under the deal, General Compute will deploy Cerebras's ultra-fast inference hardware. This hardware will serve its growing customer base, which demands faster AI performance.

The collaboration will initially accelerate "agentic coding." This process involves AI agents performing complex software development tasks. These workflows require numerous sequential inference calls for planning, writing, and testing code. Cerebras's low-latency technology speeds up these multi-step processes, making the agents faster and more efficient.
