Casey's General Stores agreed to acquire 20 convenience stores in Oklahoma from ASAP Energy Inc. The deal includes ASAP's wholesale and commercial fuels and lubricants businesses. Financial terms were not disclosed. This transaction aligns with Casey's strategy to accelerate store growth through bolt-on acquisitions.
The purchase strengthens Casey's presence in Western Oklahoma. Casey's already operates nearly 150 stores in the state. This acquisition supports the company's plan to add hundreds of locations to its network over the next three years. ASAP's owners cited Casey's focus on smaller communities and providing career opportunities for their employees as a reason for the choice.
