Blackstone Infrastructure completed a DKK 15 billion investment in Danish developer Eurowind Energy. This transaction represents a capital injection of approximately $2.29 billion. Blackstone now holds a 24.7% ownership stake in the company.

The firm joins energy and telecommunications group Norlys as a primary shareholder. The European Commission granted regulatory clearance for the deal in August following an initial agreement in April.

Eurowind Energy aims to use the funding to become a leading independent power producer in Europe. The capital supports increased long-term asset ownership and future strategic acquisitions. Eurowind Energy manages the development, construction, and operation of renewable energy projects.
