Nuburu Targets Oct. 15 Tekne Deal Close, Adding $135.4M in Order Value

Nuburu Inc. is targeting October 15, 2026, to close its acquisition of Tekne S.p.A., an Italian industrial company. The deal would give Nuburu a 70% controlling interest. The target date moves from the previously announced first week of October.

The Italian Government cleared the primary regulatory hurdle on August 5, 2026, by granting its Golden Power authorization.

The acquisition is set to be a cornerstone of Nuburu’s pivot to a defense and security platform. Tekne will add approximately 185 personnel. Its preliminary, unaudited net remaining order value is about $135.4 million.

Nuburu has incorporated NUBURU Defense Italy S.r.l. to manage its controlling interest upon completion of the deal.
