BTQ Technologies Corp. announced a strategic partnership with MoonPay Korea to serve as the security partner for the company’s Korean won stablecoin infrastructure, with a focus on post-quantum cryptography (PQC). The collaboration aims to protect MoonPay Korea’s entire on-chain infrastructure against future quantum computing threats.
The partners plan to develop a phased post-quantum security roadmap and conduct a proof of concept with Korean banking institutions. Testing will assess BTQ’s Quantum Secure Stablecoin Network (QSSN) for quantum-safe transaction signing and key management. The partnership adds to BTQ’s presence in South Korea’s digital asset security landscape.
