BioNTech maintains UBS Buy rating, following 92% lung cancer response rate

UBS reiterated its Buy rating for BioNTech. Analysts maintained a $135 price target following the 2026 World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC).

A combination therapy for first-line extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC) reached a 92% overall response rate. This treatment demonstrated best-in-class efficacy and a clean safety profile.

The drug gotistobart nearly doubled median overall survival in second-line or later squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Gotistobart showed 18.5 months of survival compared to 10.0 months for standard chemotherapy.
