A consortium led by BlackRock and IFM Investors has entered exclusive negotiations to acquire Stack Infrastructure’s Asia-Pacific data centers. The potential deal values the portfolio at up to $25 billion.

The investor group includes the BlackRock-backed Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure Partnership (AIP). The group is currently conducting due diligence on the assets.

Blue Owl Capital Inc. is the seller, having owned Stack since last year. Rapid expansion in artificial intelligence is driving intense investor demand for the data center sector.
