Baker Hughes secured a significant contract from Eni to provide subsea production systems and services for the deepwater Cronos gas development off the coast of Cyprus. The company will use standardized, configurable subsea solutions to meet the project’s accelerated timeline. Baker Hughes booked the award in the third quarter of 2026.

The contract covers deepwater subsea trees, wellheads, connectors, manifolds and topside controls. It builds on Baker Hughes and Eni’s long-standing collaboration on complex deepwater projects worldwide. Initial equipment deliveries are expected in the first half of 2027.
