Baker Hughes announced two strategic agreements aimed at revitalizing and expanding Venezuela’s natural gas infrastructure.
The company entered into an alliance with state-owned PDVSA, Lindsayca and Fulcrum LNG to develop Venezuela’s gas value chain, from upstream development to midstream infrastructure and potential LNG exports. [1]
Baker Hughes also signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with New Stratus Energy Inc. to support the future development of the country’s oil and gas resources. [1]
The collaborations aim to unlock Venezuela’s natural gas potential, establish a reliable domestic supply and develop future export capabilities. Exports could include the first LNG produced in Venezuela.
