Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) received a net arbitral award of ₹170.78 crore against RattanIndia Power Limited. BHEL disclosed the ruling on October 3, 2026. It relates to a dispute over the Amravati Phase-II Project and includes interest on part of the amount.
The tribunal rejected most of BHEL’s initial claims, but the final net award represents a financial gain for the state-owned company. RattanIndia Power said it intends to challenge the award in the High Court and may pursue further remedies in the Supreme Court.
BHEL filed the disclosure under SEBI’s listing regulations.
