Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A. (BBVA) today begins the second phase of its share repurchase program. The bank has allocated a maximum of €1 billion to this tranche. The program is set to run until early 2027. BBVA’s primary objective is to reduce its share capital by canceling the shares it acquires.

J.P. Morgan SE will manage the program’s execution and make purchase decisions independently. The buyback will comply with market regulations. Daily purchases are capped at 25% of the average daily volume on any single trading venue.

Separately, BBVA will trade ex-dividend on October 14, 2026. Payment is scheduled for October 30.
