Avio CEO Giulio Ranzo reports a surge in customers after SpaceX reached full capacity. SpaceX is reportedly prioritizing internal needs and turning away dedicated launch customers beyond 2028. This shift follows reports that SpaceX is no longer accepting certain future rideshare reservations.
Ranzo noted that the era of low-cost SpaceX Transporter missions has concluded. Smaller customers are now returning to European providers to secure orbital access.
Avio may accelerate its flight rate from four to six Vega missions per year. This production increase requires additional investment and support from the European Space Agency. The company aims to leverage this demand to secure a larger commercial market share.
