AEVEX Selected to Lead Navy Mine Countermeasure Prototype Team

AEVEX Corp. was selected to lead a team for a prototype Other Transaction Agreement under the U.S. Navy and Department of War Innovation Unit’s (DIU) Mine Countermeasure Modernization Prize Challenge, according to a Business Wire press release.

The AEVEX-led team will receive support from VideoRay, a wholly owned subsidiary of AeroVironment (AV). BlackSea Technologies, now part of AEVEX Maritime Systems, was one of three companies awarded challenge prizes after a successful demonstration for the Navy.
