Aurora Innovation announced a nonbinding memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Charger Logistics. Under the MOU, Charger intends to purchase up to 500 trucks powered by the Aurora Driver.
The planned expansion builds on an existing commercial agreement between the companies, signed in July 2026.
Charger plans to own and operate the autonomous trucks on existing and new high-volume freight routes across the country. Deliveries are expected in 2027 and 2028. Charger will subscribe to Aurora’s Driver as a Service (DaaS) model while owning the physical trucks.
