AST SpaceMobile said it will support prime contractor STR under a U.S. Space Force (USSF) contract to advance space-based sensing capabilities. The contract will apply the company’s commercial space technology to government uses beyond communications and builds on its prior work with STR. It highlights the potential for dual-use technology to meet evolving government needs.

Separately, multiple law firms reminded investors about a class-action lawsuit alleging AST SpaceMobile violated securities laws. The lawsuit claims the company made false and misleading statements about its capital needs, competitive position and user adoption rates. Investors have until November 13, 2026, to seek lead plaintiff status.
