ASML’s sales to China rose 109% in the third quarter compared with the previous quarter. China accounted for 14% of the company’s machine sales in Q2. Its share rose to 23% in Q3, and ASML expects China to represent about 20% of its total sales for the year.

The increase comes as the United States pressures the Netherlands to tighten export restrictions on chipmaking technology to China. Chinese semiconductor firms have reportedly been stockpiling equipment ahead of stricter controls.

In its Q3 results, ASML raised the lower end of its full-year 2026 sales guidance to €44 billion.
