Alloy Surfaces, a subsidiary of Automated Systems Company (ASC), secured a $300 million contract modification from the US Department of War. The Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) agreement covers the production of pyrophoric airborne decoys over five years. The contract guarantees minimum annual payments of $35 million for the first three years. Deliveries are scheduled to commence in early FY28.
A separate $45 million Other Transaction Authority (OTA) agreement was awarded through the Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment program. These funds will finance the restart of manufacturing operations and the transfer of intellectual property rights for the decoys.
Automated Systems Company stated these awards will not impact financial performance for fiscal years 2026 and 2027.
