American Rare Earths’ updated Scoping Study estimates an after-tax Net Present Value (NPV) of approximately US$1.07 billion for its Cowboy State Mine in Wyoming. The preliminary technical and economic assessment outlines a larger development plan for the first phase of the broader Halleck Creek rare earths project.

The revised plan increases proposed throughput by 50% to 4.5 million tonnes per annum. Average annual production of neodymium and praseodymium (NdPr) oxides is projected to rise by 36% to around 2,500 tonnes.

The mine life is extended from 20 to 26 years, based entirely on Indicated Mineral Resources. Initial capital costs are estimated at approximately US$900 million.
