Arbe Robotics has introduced Gryphon, a 4D imaging radar system designed for unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs). It aims to help vehicles perceive their surroundings reliably in challenging off-road and low-visibility conditions, including dust, fog, and rain, where other sensors may be less effective. Built on Arbe’s automotive-grade radar technology, the system uses a high-resolution 4D point cloud to detect obstacles.

The launch marks Arbe’s entry into the UGV market, which the company expects to become a significant new revenue stream. Grand View Research projects the global UGV market will reach $7.7 billion by 2033.

Gryphon is designed to be compact, low-power, and cost-effective. Arbe says these features make it scalable across a range of vehicle sizes and autonomy levels.
