Air Products entered a long-term agreement with Nobian for the offtake of certified renewable hydrogen.
The hydrogen is produced at Nobian’s renewable-powered chlor-alkali electrolysis plant in Rotterdam. This facility is the largest certified Renewable Fuels of Non-Biological Origin (RFNBO) production site in Europe.
Air Products will leverage its existing infrastructure and distribution network to provide green hydrogen to industrial customers.
The partnership supports European decarbonization objectives. It assists customers in meeting regulatory requirements such as the Renewable Energy Directive (RED III).
