Amazon-owned Bee has introduced its first new products since being acquired, launching two personal AI devices: the Bee Frontier wearable and the Bee Eclipse, a magnetic, credit-card-sized recorder for smartphones. Both gadgets are designed to capture and summarize conversations, identify action items, and create to-do lists, with prices for the new line starting at $74.99.
The devices integrate with Amazon's ecosystem, allowing users to connect to Alexa+ for hands-free summaries and to Amazon.com for personalized shopping. Bee emphasizes privacy, stating that audio is processed in real-time and then deleted, with a visible light indicating when the device is active. The launch positions Amazon to compete with a growing number of AI hardware startups.
