Amkor Expands Arizona Campus to $12B, Driven by High Customer Demand

Amkor Technology is expanding its Arizona semiconductor packaging and test campus. Total planned investment for the project now reaches approximately $12 billion.

Strong customer commitments exceeding initial capacity drove the decision for a Phase 2 expansion. The project adds 60,000 square meters of cleanroom space to the site. This brings the total campus footprint to roughly 93,000 square meters.

Phase 2 construction begins in late 2027 with a scheduled completion date in late 2029. The completed campus will employ more than 3,500 people.
