Airtel Africa announced the final details of the initial public offering (IPO) of its mobile money unit, Airtel Mobile Commerce N.V. (Airtel Money).
Conditional dealings in Airtel Money shares began on the London Stock Exchange’s Main Market on October 9, 2026. Unconditional trading is expected to begin on October 14, 2026.
Airtel Africa will remain a long-term strategic shareholder and is not selling any of its shares in the offering. The IPO marks a key milestone for Airtel Money’s rapidly growing mobile money business.
