Bechtel Completes Seven Cheniere LNG Trains, Boosting Capacity to 56 MTPA

Bechtel reached substantial completion on the first seven trains of Cheniere Energy’s Corpus Christi Stage 3 liquefied natural gas (LNG) project.

Cheniere has assumed care, custody, and control of this expansion phase.

The project adds more than 10 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) of LNG production capacity.

This completion increases Cheniere’s total Gulf Coast production capabilities to approximately 56 MTPA.

The project remains a central component of Bechtel’s global LNG construction portfolio.
