AI startup Anthropic is partnering with London-based private equity firm Hg to launch an independent AI consultancy in Europe by the end of 2026.
The company will embed AI consultants and engineers in European businesses to help them design and implement AI-based products and services. It will open initial hubs in London and Berlin, focusing on software companies and other white-collar sectors.
The move increases competition for traditional consulting firms, including Accenture and the Big Four, which advise businesses on technology adoption. It follows a similar U.S. initiative by Anthropic and other private equity firms.
The venture gives Anthropic a new revenue stream to help cover its high infrastructure costs. Hg aims to accelerate AI adoption at its portfolio companies and across the wider European market.
