GigaDevice Semiconductor Chairman Zhu Yiming proposed a company share buyback between ¥1 billion and ¥2 billion. The plan involves repurchasing A-shares for cancellation to enhance shareholder value.
Zhu announced the proposal on July 29, 2026, shortly after completing a personal share reduction. He sold approximately 11.11 million shares for ¥4.4 billion between May 6 and June 12, 2026.
Zhu committed to a 12-month moratorium on further share sales. He also pledged to personally increase his stake by at least ¥1 billion between December 2026 and July 2027.
