Tesla’s energy division signed an $800 million framework agreement with Italian developer Zhero.
The contract covers 3 GWh of Megapack battery energy storage systems for deployment across Italy.
This agreement represents one of Tesla’s largest energy storage projects in Europe.
The hardware will support a significant portion of Zhero’s utility-scale storage pipeline.
Demand for Megapack systems continues to outpace supply as Tesla increases international production.
