Tesla delivered 67,829 China-made electric vehicles in October, according to China Passenger Car Association data. Sales rose 10.3% year over year, marking the automaker’s 12th consecutive month of annual growth in the region. The deliveries from Tesla’s Shanghai plant include vehicles for export.

Annual growth accelerated from 5% in September. However, sales fell 28.9% from the previous month.

Tesla also launched a new financing plan in China called Tesla Ease, which lowers the down payment on its vehicles. Some industry observers view the plan as a disguised price cut to stimulate demand. Tesla’s retail sales in China declined year over year during the first nine months of 2026.
