Dell shares fell 2.5% on September 24 after reports that four senior executives sold approximately $31.7 million in company shares during September. The sellers were the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Legal Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer, and Chief Marketing Officer.

Most of the sales were made under pre-arranged Rule 10b5-1 trading plans. The volume of sales has raised investor concerns about the company’s future performance.

The reports came amid positive business momentum: Dell’s AI server revenue doubled year over year, and its order backlog grew substantially. Investors appeared cautious despite those gains.
